Fish Keeps Swimming In Front Of Water Filter My Oscars Keep Attacking My Arowana In My 30- Gallon Tank And My Tank Water Smells Sort Of Bad?

My Oscars keep attacking my arowana in my 30- gallon tank and my tank water smells sort of bad? - fish keeps swimming in front of water filter

Ive had my silver Arowana in the tank anymore because it was there the first fish. Then, 2 blood parrot has agreed with me, so I Tiger 3 Oscars Arowana, an albino, was black and red. You have to attack with a Silver Arowana for a few days, then began my Arowana. Whenever I ring swam back and fourth on the above, one of my quicky Oscar swim and a bite in it. Now get on the scales, fins are cut a little, and sometimes remain in the background. Theres a lot of awards in the tank, live plants, caves, rocks, etc. My Arowana 1 foot and the Oscars are about 6 9inches. I do not know why they continue to attack my Arowana help please!

Then my water tank has a strong odor when you create a suction on the subject. if the door has opened my room smell bad in a few hours. in with 2 Fluval FX-5 filter cansister for me and 1 filter plate. I changed the water every 2 weeks (30%) with a trap, can I use a vacuum to suck the gravel left in Debre every two weeksI am changing the water , but the water still smells after changing the water and vacuum gravel (the gravel on the floor btw, I did not sand and sea, his purchase pet locel). i 1 Fluval filter cleaning once a month every month, next month / nel clean the other, if their monthly rotation. I have all the fish in the pools are) (freshwater: 1 Silver Arowana, 3 Tiger Oscar, blood 2 parrots, 2 membranes painted green pleco 1 large (10 inches), 2 Plecos small (4 inches), 4 Cory Green, and 1 gourami . I also have 2 heads of places of power in the bottom of the tank in front of the tank theres water movement. 2 filters in all corners of the tank. Finally, I would just like the chemicals used in the tank Aquaplus cold water, why is my water smell?

  1. You have 2 Fluval FX-5 in a tank of 30 g? not a kind of "O" 300G is it? If none of the FX5 sold and you get a larger tank, you need a minimum Arowana only 150g! is necessary to reduce the number of fish in the tank big time.

  5. Whoa, you have all the fish in an aquarium of 30 g? It is close to terrible! Silver Arowana have to 100g, while a single Oscar 55g demand. Their fish are small, short-tempered and need a hell lot more space.

  7. The water feels, because he, despite his triple filter, the tank is very high. None of the fish themselves are a 30 gallon tank conditions, with the exception of Coria and gourami, depending on what type it is. Membranes are stained brackish water species and have no place in a tank with cichlids of South America. Arowana to 3 meters and to make good aquarium specimens in all my opinion.

You do not have enough water to change, or nearly a dent in the amount of waste that is probably smelly in the tank, and organic waste. The fish are probably accustomed to high nitrate levels, but eventually die over time.

I propose to do research on species that exist, to think a little more seriously and rehoming many of the species in your configuration, or a larger tank of about 75-100 liters, or call a pet.

  8. There is room for the water there?

Of course he has a bad odor, 30gal is not big enough for an Oscar.

Not enough space also explains Oscar aggression.

Sand filter and under the earth? Useless

GSP is a kind of brackish water, they die if they waited long term freshwater.

Only an epic is not everything.

  9. Well ... You should do some research on the Oscars before buying. They tend to not tolerate other fish .... unless it is too big to tackle.

I hate to say it, but Arowana their days are numbered, if you leave in the tank .... like the parrots. Also WAAAY your tank is too small for all the fish.

When the smell ... sounds like you're doing everything. They have changed the filter when needed? You have to be changed regularly the water. N aquarium smell like a rose garden ... do not leave and as a rule, you should (just open the lid of the evaporation rate and skip some fish), but I do not know what would cause such a persistent bad smell.

Perhaps the sand is the problem .... if too thin to filter sediments from disk if it is really not as expected .... appropriate at all. This would mean that the majority of organic compounds in the tank ... and can be removed by siphoning and water changes. Just something to consider.

  11. What? WHAT? You can handle a lot in a container, 1 parrot? 2 If the opportunity for people of short stature?

We must seriously consider us, a little less than 10 times the current size of your deposit if you want to live so long. The aggression is a manifestation of seizures so they, and you will soon lose the fish. 30% every two weeks is a joke, and is in no way helps to keep the water here. You need 30% per day or every two days if you are lazy.

The need for a tank of brackish water membranes, the other will not be tolerated, period.

    I'm lost ... I hope it's just a troll, and I wasted my time.
